Company Profile Rayonier is a timberland real estate investment trust with assets located in the softwood timber growing regions in the U.S. and New Zealand. Co. operates in six reportable business segments: Southern Timber, Pacific Northwest Timber, New Zealand Timber, Timber Funds, Real Estate and Trading. Co.'s Real Estate segment reflects all of its U.S. and New Zealand land or leasehold sales, which are reported in six categories: improved development, unimproved development, rural, timberlands and non-strategic, large dispositions and conservation easement. The Trading segment reflects the log trading activities in New Zealand and Australia conducted by its New Zealand subsidiary.
