Company Profile Star Bulk Carriers is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. owns and operates a fleet of dry bulk carrier vessels. Co.'s vessels transport a range of bulk commodities, including iron ore, minerals and grain, bauxite, fertilizers and steel products, along worldwide shipping routes. Each of Co.'s vessels are equipped with a vessel remote monitoring system that provides data to monitor fuel and lubricant consumption and efficiency on a real-time basis. Co. conducts a portion of the commercial and technical management of its vessels in-house through its subsidiaries, Star Bulk Management Inc., Star Bulk Shipmanagement Company (Cyprus) Limited and Starbulk S.A.
