Do companies with insider purchases out perform the S&P and NASDAQ indexes?                          Yes.

Our results came from a sampling size of two years, from 2004 - 2006. We took every insider purchase and calculated the profit made from the transaction and compared it to the S&P and NASDAQ indexes.

We also found that stocks belonging to an index and have insider buying activity general out perform those indexes.
